Darien Fire & EMS Department

Pursuant to Section 61.65(3g), Wis. Stats., the Village Board and the Town Board created the Joint Commission of Fire and EMS Commissioners. The Village of Darien and the Town of Darien created a Joint Fire and EMS Department, which is responsible for the delivery of fire protection, EMS, and related services, including, without limitation, fire inspections and petroleum storage tank inspections, to the service area of the Village and Town, and such other areas designated by contract as approved by the Village and the Town, and shall have such other powers and duties as provided by law.
