Board of Review

The Village of Darien Board of Review is charged with hearing objections to property assessments, not property taxes. A property owner and/or objector may appear before the Board of Review to challenge an assessment. Please see the documents below to assist you in determining if and how to challenge your assessment.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the assessment roll for the Village of Darien will be open for inspection prior to Open Book on the Village’s website: www.darienvillagewi.gov, Associated Appraisal’s website: https://www.apraz.com/assessment-roll/, and at the Darien Village Hall, 24 N. Wisconsin St., Darien, Wisconsin. The assessment rolls will be posted as soon as available. Open Book is scheduled via phone for Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Board of Review for the Village of Darien, Walworth County, Wisconsin, held its first meeting on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of calling the Board of Review into session during the 45-day period beginning on the 4th Monday of April pursuant to 70.41(1), Wis. Stats. and shall reconvene on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 24 N. Wisconsin St., Darien, Wisconsin.
